Replay that keeps up
The app holds the last 60 seconds of video in memory and plays it back on a delay while it keeps recording. Locking capture at 30 frames per second fixed the stutter in dim gyms.
Instant replay for volleyball practice.
RepRecap is an instant replay app for volleyball practice. Put an iPad on a tripod, set a delay of up to 60 seconds, and run the drill. Athletes finish a rep, walk over, and watch themselves a few seconds later, then get back in line.
I built it for my wife’s club volleyball team, girls 10 to 15. Coaches can save the reps worth keeping, tag them to a player, and build a reel for each athlete. The video never leaves the device: the app has no network access at all, so it can’t upload anything.
